An Important Message From Jon Benson
March 21, 2010 by GiGi · 3 Comments
Welcome back!
My friend and fitness author Jon Benson sent me this email. I have his permission to share it with you, despite the really personal details… turns out that he had a near-fatal event in the gym and wanted to share the story with his readers.
I thought it was timely considering my recent post on “Becoming A Gym Rat“. I doubt I’ll ever get to his level at the gym, but it makes for an interesting read, especially if you have some genetic problems with blood pressure (like me!) and cholesterol.

A Loving Tribute – RIP Floy

Many of you probably are aware of Jon Benson of Fit Over 40 fame.
Today he did a tribute post for his mother, who died recently at the age of 82. The tribute is lovely but what I want you to get out of it is that you are never too old to start an anti aging program.
His mother was 78 when she first joined a gym, started taking supplements, and got on a healthy diet. Two years later she was a changed woman. And he has the photos to prove it.
So before you read the tribute, I want you to go here: Fit Over 40 Read more
