Hey, Ladies! Great News!
The latest research indicates that green tea polyphenol may reduce the risk of gastric (stomach) cancer in women by as much as 75%.
According to Cancer Epidemiol Biomarkers & Prevention , the study was done in Japan in the large population base. The men in the study didn’t fair as well, I guess, and Cigarette smoking was suggested to play a role as an effect modifier, which explains in part the different patterns observed by gender. Parkinson’s is caused by cell death that affects the neurons that contain pigmented dopamine. This, in turn, impairs movement and balance.
Researchers have found that green tea extract may protect neurons from being damaged. Green Tea has long been known for its antioxidant properties. The researchers performed a study done on rodents to see how it affected them. Read more
