New Discovery - Bullfrogs Produce Anti Aging Substance

February 27, 2008 by GiGi · 2 Comments

bullfrog.jpgI just found this on a Korean blog.

Apparently researchers have discovered an antioxidant substance in the skin of bullfrogs. The findings were published in the international academic journal Bioresource Technology.

According to the results of the team's study, adding the material from the bullfrogs to the wall of human cells reduces the effects of oxidization by up to 73%.

This newly found material is 10 % better in curbing oxidization than tocopherol, which is widely used as an antioxidant in medicines and health supplements.

No word yet on what this new antioxidant is called, but I can just see it in the stores now, can't you?
