Sounds kind of brutal, doesn't it? But the plain truth is, you can do all the other anti aging things right, but if regular exercise isn't part of the plan, it
probably won't work.
I'll bet you can name someone you know (perhaps a family member) that lived to a ripe old age that never did any regular exercise. Were they healthy in their later years? How many people do you know that didn't exercise and developed health problems because of it? Probably more, right?
If you are over 50 and have never done regular exercise in your life, it's not too late to start.

The article is on point and very informative. Although I am not over 40, I find this article important because a lot of the problems associated with age related diseases could be lessened or alleviated with good nutrition and exercise. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said that exercise reduces a person’s risk of heart disease, colon cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure and other ailments. And this in and of itself increases a person’s quality of life. I’m impressed when I see people regardless of age getting outdoors and engaging in physical activity.
Often times as people age they tend to accumulate more body fat that becomes increasingly more difficult for them to get rid off. That’s because many people become less active as they get older. I’m a firm believer in strength training. When a person works out with weights, and combines it with good nutrition and plenty of rest, it does the body good. Strength training builds muscle and muscle burns calories at a rate much faster than fat does. And this happens even at rest. So by adding some lean muscle to your body, you will increase your metabolism and thereby lose fat. This then reduces your risk of diseases associated with being overweight or obese (both of which may accompany inactive lifestyles). And you don’t have to bulk up to develop a solid, fit physique. Just 30 minutes of strength training three or four days per week will be a wonderful gift you can give to yourself.
It’s never too late to begin an exercise program. Always consult with your physician before taking up exercise. And always keep in mind that exercise should be fun. Take up something that you like to do. This will help you to stay committed and focused. When you’re fit you have more energy, self confidence, mental awareness, mental acuity, etc. all of which improve your mood and quality of life. And leading a good and healthy life is important for everyone regardless of age.

I am drinking very often a glas of red wine. It will help me to live longer. But I prefer red wine from France which have more Reveratrol than other wine. Hope it works
Careful on that “very often” glass of wine, Ralf.
Besides, studies have shown you’d have to drink way too much red wine to get the resveratrol benefits.
Too much alcohol will kill your brain cells and that’s not a good anti-aging strategy!
