Rate Your Anti Aging Supplements

June 7, 2010 by GiGi

Welcome back!

Here’s a chance to rate your anti aging supplements and help out a Princeton student at the same time.

There’s a new Drug rating site and they need some help with their anti aging supplement section. Ajibike Lapite approached me and asked if my readers would help him rate some of their anti aging supplements.

Here’s a little more information about the site and the program, but if you’d like to just go and start rating, go here:

RateADrug Anti Aging Supplements

RateADrug calls itself the user’s guide to prescription drugs and supplements. In truth, this self-proclaimed entirely encompasses the website’s purpose. Through user surveys that analyze the benefits of particular prescription drugs and supplements, the side effects of these prescription drugs and supplements, and changes in result to beginning these medical treatments, RateADrug forms comparison charts that show which medication (in a certain category) is more beneficial than the other. This is the case in regard to cancer, nausea, and cell health and anti-aging treatments.

Over 10,000 surveys have been completed for over 9,000 prescription drugs and supplements for 150 classes of medications/supplements, this number is significantly growing on a daily basis. On a rotating basis, RateADrug has a PPREP internship program for high school seniors and undergraduates with medical school aspirations. These students have a four month rotation and collect at least 100 surveys. These students hail from Princeton University, Cornell University, University of Chicago, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and other top schools. Along with these surveys comes research that each intern handles in regard to each focus (cancer, nausea, etcetera).

One recent Princeton University intern is doing research on cell health and anti-aging treatment. Ajibike Lapite’s research not only shows ground-breaking results in the field of cell health and ati-aging medication, but also evaluates the efficacy and efficiency of certain popular treatments such as Botox, Green Tea, and even Human Growth Hormone. In addition, Ajibike is required to search for alternative treatments to add to the number of supplements being surveyed under the category of cell health and anti-aging treatment.

RateADrug allows for individuals to evaluate their current medication, compare conventional and alternative treatments, and allows for patients to receive information about their medication without the bias of drug companies. Through the comments of other users and table results of drug efficiency, individuals can truly come to see how safe and useful a certain medication is, and in addition these individuals know what side effects or benefits to expect.

Is there really true “anti aging” supplements on the market? I know there are supplements which provide antioxidant levels, vitamins, minerals, etc.. but I don’t know of anything released to market yet (until January in North America :P ) which actually resets the “aging genes” in the body.

Yes, there are anti-aging products that raise the glutathione level in your body and slow down the aging process. Here is an excellent Free report that describes how glutathione is critical to the process of aging.
