It was bound to happen – have you seen the Acai Berry scam sites going around?
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since I first posted Jumping On The Acai Berry Bandwagon. Since then, the world (and Oprah) has learned all about the great antioxidant benefits of the tiny Acai berry.
Although it was never originally touted as a diet product, it was only a matter of time before someone tried to make it one.
Now you see these fake sites all over the place.
I’m not going to endorse their sites by creating a link to them, but you can type them in yourself.
Compare these two:
jennysdietblog[dot]com and
debbiesdietblog[dot]blogspot[dot]com
Wow, Jenny and Debbie look amazingly alike, don’t they?
What’s great is you can get fabulous results with Acai Berry and colon cleansing. Who knew?
Plus it’s practically free – just sign up for the free trial and they’ll bill your credit card $xxxx every month after that.
Oh, well…there have been snake oil salesmen since the dawn of man. It’s not about to change now, is it?

Acai is great. No doubt about it…
I’m suprised more isn’t written about the “Gac” fruit though, based on the bioavailability of the carotenoid antioxidants.
Polyphenol count is certainly important – but moreso is the bodies ability to absorb the beneficial components, wouldn’t you agree?
Yes, Gac is very high in lycopene – much more than tomatoes, actually. However, from what I’ve read, it’s mostly grown in southeast Asia (Vietnam) and is not allowed here in the U.S.
I think the government is concerned about bugs, but frankly, I hear parts of the fruit are poisonous and it’s actually quite ugly. I’m sure at some point, someone will bottle the oil and
sell it to us.
Not only has that already been done, but the company that is doing it offes a 60 day money back guarentee, that if it doesn’t increase your carotenoid antioxidant levels in your body – you get a refund – no questions asked!
Not to put a shameless self plug – as I distribute these products, and a number of others in the anti-aging / nutrition world, but take a peek at:
